FABF Website Admin / Saturday, February 28, 2026 / Categories: News & Events Notice of Conversion to Northern Trust Payroll Services The Fund has engaged Northern Trust’s Benefit Payment Services Division to administer monthly annuity benefit disbursements. As a result, all retirement payments are now being issued by Northern Trust. As part of the services included is the ability to provide a ‘Direct Deposit Payroll Advice’. The office received several inquiries from members on the payroll advices that were mailed in January. The advice should not have included language that prompted changes to federal and state withholding. There is no current option for the Fund to withhold state taxes. The Fund will continue to process changes to federal tax withholding, addresses, and direct deposit updates. Members seeking changes should continue submitting these requests in writing to the FABF staff by mail, email info@fabf.org, or fax (312) 726‑2316.
